Bill of Non-Rights
“We the sensible people of the United States, in an attempt to help everyone get along, restore some semblance of justice, avoid more riots, keep our nation safe, promote positive behavior, and secure the blessings of debt free liberty to ourselves and our great-great-great-grandchildren, hereby try one more time to ordain and establish some common sense guidelines for the terminally whiny, guilt ridden, delusional, and other liberal bed-wetters. We hold these truths to be self evident: that a whole lot of people are confused by the Bill of Rights and are so dim they require a Bill of Non-Rights.”ARTICLE I: You do not have the right to a new car, big screen TV, or any other form of wealth. More power to you if you can legally acquire them, but no one is guaranteeing anything.ARTICLE II: You do not have the right to never be offended. This country is based on freedom, and that means freedom for everyone—not just you! You may leave the room, turn the channel, express a different opinion, etc.; but the world is full of idiots, and probably always will be.ARTICLE III: You do not have the right to be free from harm. If you stick a screwdriver in your eye, learn to be more careful; do not expect the tool manufacturer to make you and all your relatives independently wealthy.ARTICLE IV: You do not have the right to free food and housing. Americans are the most charitable people to be found and will gladly help anyone in need, but we are quickly growing weary of subsidizing generation after generation of professional couch potatoes who achieve nothing more than the creation of another generation of professional couch potatoes.ARTICLE V: You do not have the right to free health care. That would be nice, but from the looks of public housing, we’re just not interested in public health care.ARTICLE VI: You do not have the right to physically harm other people. If you kidnap, rape, intentionally maim, or kill someone, don’t be surprised if the rest of us want to see you fry in the electric chair.ARTICLE VII: You do not have the right to the possessions of others. If you rob, cheat, or coerce away the goods or services of other citizens, don’t be surprised if the rest of us get together and lock you away in a place where you still won’t have the right to a big screen color TV or a life of leisure.ARTICLE VIII: You do not have the right to a job. All of us sure want you to have a job, and will gladly help you along in hard times, but we expect you to take advantage of the opportunities of education and vocational training laid before you to make yourself useful.ARTICLE IX: You do not have the right to happiness. Being an American means that you have the right to PURSUE happiness which, by the way, is a lot easier if you are unencumbered by an over abundance of idiotic laws created by those of you who were confused by the Bill of Rights.ARTICLE X: This is an English speaking country. We don’t care where you are from, English is our language. Learn it or go back to wherever you came from!ARTICLE XI: You do not have the right to change our country’s history or heritage. This country was founded on the belief in one true God. And yet, you are given the freedom to believe in any religion, any faith, or no faith at all; with no fear of persecution. The phrase “IN GOD WE TRUST” is part of our heritage and history and if you are uncomfortable with it, TOUGH!!!!“We think it’s about time common sense was allowed to flourish. Sensible people of the United States speak out because if you don’t, insensible people will.Author unknown. If I knew who wrote the Bill of Non-Rights, I certainly couldn’t have made his 11 points as clearly and concisely as he has, I would have liked to invite him to join the fellowship of JudgeRight. When people get angry enough, perhaps Congress will begin to change their evil ways. Yes, I said Congress is evil. I suspect most members of Congress are not individually designing evil to perpetrate on anybody but as a body, they are indeed perpetrating evil upon the citizenry. We are forced under threat of property seizure, money seizure, or even imprisonment to pay 1/3 our paychecks, and up to ½ all U.S. wealth in the form of property, sales, gift, inheritance, etc., taxes to a set of funds they control. There is any number of payees for these funds never authorized by the people they are meant to serve. They take that revenue and give it away to criminals in this land who are not even citizens of it. They give it away to international criminals who are threatening our country and its citizens, many of whom have acted on those threats. They squander these funds on pork bills, and kickback motivated contracts which entail $4000.00 ashtrays and the like.Still, this remains the greatest nation on God’s green earth because its citizens are the most generous, the most motivated, the most productive, the most right purposed people on God’s green earth. We are individually giving more per capita than any other nation. We are producing more than any other nation. We are working as a unit to bring individual freedoms to other nations’ people. We are sacrificing more in wealth and blood for these freedoms than any other nation. While we have a large number of detractors both in and outside our borders, with whom we’ve made too many concessions, we are getting the job done. I prayed George Bush would win the presidency during both elections and I still thank God he won it both times, but I have serious complaints against the current immigration and foreign aid policies. Our Swiss cheese borders are daily penetrated by thousands of illegal immigrants. We know nothing of who they are, where they are, or what they’re doing. There are so many of them from Mexico that they feel bold enough to carry the Mexican flag and proclaim that the South-Western states belong to Mexico. I have some questions for those who are stupid enough to wave a Mexican flag on U.S. soil and proclaim U.S. territory Mexican property. If you are so proud of Mexico, why aren’t you there?Didn’t you flee a corrupt government? If so, why would you want to give control over this land to that corrupt government? Now that you are here, what makes you think you deserve to be here?Who told you, you were entitled to vote, free healthcare, work, buy property, squat claim American land? Whoever they are, they lied.Do you think you have helped the cause of Mexican immigration? Why won’t you go through appropriate channels to acquire legal status? This last is directed at all ethnic groups who identify themselves as hyphenated-Americans, ie. Mexican-American, Afro-American, Russo-American, Cuban-American, Irish-American, Polish-American, Arab-American, Chinese-American, Slavic-American, etc., etc., Since the U.S. success is built on the Melting Pot principle, why do you maintain a separate culture within its society? The racism that tears this country apart today was born out of the years of the travesty of and nation splitting war over slavery but it is presently perpetuated and exacerbated by this fracturing of American culture. The greater tragedy is the racially based sub cultures are doing greater damage to their own race by nine times that of all the race based crime perpetrated on them by other races. As for interracial murders, the statistics show that more blacks kill whites than whites kill blacks by a factor of 60 to 1. The figures for Mexican and White interracial murders or far less drastically spread but they are still very heavy on the White deaths by Mexican hands. Until we once again begin working toward one society, one culture for America, the statistics will continue to soar. Either integrate into this culture or take yours and go back to its source.
I have no idea how long these guys have been on the market. I haven’t been a music collector for many years now. The last song I bought was Allison Kraus’s ‘Man of Constant Sorrow’.
I heard theses guys (The Right Brothers) for the first time today on Hugh Hewitt’s nation wide live radio talk show. I’m so glad they’re here and contributing to ….no, leading the answer to talent aligned against conservatives’ ideals. Frank Highland and Aaron Sain do a great job with a message of truth wrapped in great music. With a flavor of Southern Fried Rock-a-billy and an unapologetic spirit of ‘get it RIGHT before it all goes wrong’ they bring a strong message of “Right is right and the Left have never been more wrong.” I was able to get onto their website before it was flooded with so much traffic they had to take down their sample options to conserve bandwidth. I ordered my package deal almost immediately. It can take up to three weeks for my purchase to arrive so I can’t wait to sing the tune ‘Bush Was Right’ to the next liberal that wants to start a debate with me.
Hollywood has not cared enough about money to learn by their market that their opinions do not belong in mainstream entertainment. The box office sales for their biggest productions are down, way down. Yet, movies like “The Passion of the Christ” are rocking the box office with record exploding sales. You’d think they’d take a hint that they’re political views aren’t only not popular, they’re not welcome.
You hear them talking about their waning sales on popular TV talk show like Oprah and Larry King, but they blame video rental markets and internet piracy for their woes. They’re ignoring the facts! Family friendly movies and music are doing just fine, better than ever in fact. People are weary of having to protect their children from television, pop radio, big production movies and music because the industry elite believe mainstream America wants smut. Nobody wants to instill blue law, we just don’t want that crap pushed at us, and our kids especially, constantly.
It is sad to see the theaters suffering, some even closing, because the sales aren’t there, but as parents, we cannot trust the major releases to maintain acceptable standards. Most of us will not allow our kids to view them until we’ve had a chance to review them ourselves. Since adults see far fewer movies than kids would if their parents allowed them, the market suffers. As much as I enjoy movies, I would welcome a Hollywood collapse if it limited the amount of smut, political agenda, and values degradation that makes its way onto my movies, TV and into my kids’ music.
Kudos to ‘The Right Brothers’ for using blue tools to empower red America’s morale and for encouraging all of us to judge right.
I was in a chat when a young woman mentioned that she'd had an abortion years ago and knew that God had forgiven her, but she couldn't forgive herself. She asked for advice on what she should do. By clicking here, you'll be linked to a site designed especially for parents who've made this decision, for free counseling.
Folks, abortion hurts more than the baby. The guilt is so heavy on the parents who make this decision, sometimes retroactively but it comes nevertheless, that they cannot accept the ultimate decision for forgiveness. If you are considering ending a pregnancy, consider this woman's story and think again.
The value of a child cannot be measured in dollars and investment, in trouble and payoff, they're worth is measured in potential and joy. The work invested in them is its own reward. Like any relationship, just being near them and interacting with them is amazingly joyful. Every child lost to abortion is harmful on so many levels. To society, we've lost another wage earner who would contribute to the economy and to the support of their elders through the Social Security programs not to mention the potential Einstiens and Tchaikovskys. To the community, we've lost a contributor to local culture and support structure. To the family, we've lost a daughter/son, sister/brother and continuing blood line. To the parent, we've lost the most precious loving hearts.
When you look at a little child and think, his/her mother could have decided they were not prepared for the task of parenting and just "got rid of it." what goes through your mind and heart. No big deal? When you look at a man or woman who've contributed to society for decades, can you think, they should have been aborted? According to the scriptures, this thought is equivalent to murder. Why isn't actual abortion considered murder? Because some men decided that a fetus is not a person and so has no rights? No, because too many people are ignorant of the facts, of the pain and guilt that follows, of the cost to society, and of the lost talent that advance knowledge, contibute to the arts, or lead us through evil times. God makes known his heart on this issue by giving us a conscience. And conscience is a terrible punisher for wilfully rebelling against God.
I know this kind of guilt though not through this kind of act. I worked through it by a Christian brother's advice to me, "If you were the only sinner on earth, God would have done that work on the cross for you alone. If God considers you valuable enough to send His Son to die on a cross to save you, and He has decided to forgive you, who are you to overrule His decision. Do not consider your judgment concerning your worth more valid than God's judgment of your worth.
I don't know how unbelievers deal with this kind of guilt. Its too overwhelming to work through without God to overrule my self disgust, and self loathing.
Broken Bow Lake, Oklahoma 2005 Some days you just don't know quite what to believe. I received this photo from a friend a few days ago and thought, "Mmm, nah!" It wasn't until I decided to post about it that I decided to look it up and see. Aren't we like that about way too many things? Important things sometimes. Like whether there's any reason to believe the Bible.
There are good reasons to go to church aside from seeking a relationship with God, like finding people who believe bad behavior has eternal consequences, and being in an environment where you're held accountable for your actions today, having a good reputation in the community. But what really matters is, Who are we subject to? God or men?
One of the assumptions that keep people outside the church, is the reputation of the church among unbelievers. "Oh those people judge you." Well, yeah, we do. So what? You judge people everyday. That statement is a judgement of us. Judgement is by no means a sin or even a wrongdoing. It is, in fact, required by God. How in the world do you expect to survive without judging people? Don't you evaluate who is a better person to hang out with, who to marry, which is the better company to work for, who makes better meals? These are all judgements.
When the Bible is being disputed, like this, you need to look deeper to see what it really says. Ever heard the Bible quoted as; "Money is the root of all evil?" Ank!, wrong. There are plenty of misquotes, and misinterpretations flying around and its easy to assume, this is right and that is wrong, but have you checked it out for yourself? You are guilty of the same thing you are accusing the believers of?- condemning without examination.
The fish above is real. You can find more information at the link I've provided above. This one was caught in Brokenbow, Oklahoma, on Brokenbow Lake. It weighs 327 lbs. and is 8 feet 10 inches long. It is thought these things are going extinct by some, but this catch somewhat puts a quash on that assumption. This is probably the biggest ever caught in recorded history. They are a very interesting breed. They breathe underwater as well as air.
That's another thing assumptions are made about. "Oh, well then this must be a missing link between fish and reptiles in their evolution." Well, not quite. This whole theory is so full of wholes the theorist himself denied it before he died. He said the fossil records should hold some proof of his theory, but in all the fossil finds everywhere, there is no definitive proof that Darwin's theory holds salt. The alligator that existed at the earliest paleintological record is still an alligator today. The horse is still a horse, and a monkey is still a monkey. They've found frozen men thousands of years frozen on mountain tops and in glaciers that're still entirely men. And if it takes millions of years to evolve, then you're running out of excuses.
There is an offer that's been up for years, decades really, for anyone who can prove the theory of evolution. They offer a reward of $250,000 for any evidence at all. To date, the reward has not been claimed. You can go to their site to see for yourself. Now there is another site that talks about the proof of Creationism. Click to see their evidence that the earth is young, not millions of years old. Now you have to ask yourself, why hasn't anybody after all these years claimed that money? Why would they want to disprove God? And why aren't we being taught in our schools the facts rather than theories shot full of holes? Could it be, they prefer not to be subject to a holy God? Hmm.
I hate chain letters. I open up my mailbox to 40 new entries daily and at least 30 of them are chain letters from friends and family. Well, ok, I look them over because I'm always blessed by most of them. They're interesting or touching, and informative. I received one the other day that linked me to a website offering a short movie describing blessings. I've linked it here, but what a pain to filter through them to get to the actual mail.
Really, they're a metaphor for relationships in general. I mean, if you want to maintain your friendships you have to work at them. You think of the other person to see how you can meet their needs, right. That's what being a friend is. To me, as a guy, that's the "loving" part. You wade through the putting up with little idiosyncracies, the annoyances, and even bad attitudes to get to the nuggets meaning something to somebody and them meaning something to you.
It doesn't matter what form of relationship you have; family, friend, lover, they all require this same effort. Why do we find it so difficult to do with our siblings, our parents, and our lovers what comes so easily with a casual friend. Could it be, 'we've allowed anger or fear of hurt, a get back at you spirit to steal the special joy readily availabe in every relationship. That's where the work comes in. You have to set aside those emotions or work through them to maintain the special connection friends easily enjoy. The reason friends find it so easy is because of the lack of commitment. If they hurt you or keep you angry, its easy to dump them and find a new friend. Each party is aware of the lack of commitment and so use more caution in relating to the other.
The chain mail is an example of this. Its not harmful or hurtful, just a misguided attempt to share a blessing. Their hearts are right, the message is loosely, "I thought of you when I saw this. Just a reminder that you are still in my heart." This is their way of working at it. I recognize that without these chain letters, in many cases my friendships with the senders would be shelved because of the literal distance between us. With all of our moving around the country there are many hundreds of miles between us. So what can you do to keep a friendship from drying up due to the winds of time and distance.
I make a lot of phone calls. I use the heck out of the free nights and weekends on my cell phone service. I'm terrible about sending cards and that sort of thing. I use the instant messenger if I can catch anybody online. The easiest thing, I guess is to forward a chain letter because they're interesting or touching, or at least informative, you know what, I love chain letters.
